Teenage rape victims had skipped school
TWO teenage rape victims have been treated in a Sydney hospital after a decision to skip school for a day of shopping led to the unthinkable.
The high school students, both aged 16, were travelling on a train between Blacktown and Fairfield when they asked strangers for directions to a nearby shopping centre.
With the promise of helping the girls find the right bus stop, three young men allegedly lured the pair off the train at Fairfield where they were led to a sports oval and raped behind a grandstand.
The men then fled and the girls found help.
Police are hunting three Middle Eastern men believed to be in their early 20s.
Video footage from the Fairfield station was being reviewed on Wednesday.
