
Teenager seriously injured in motorbike collision
A TEENAGER was flown to hospital in a serious condition last night after his motorbike collided with a four-wheel drive at Mount Colliery.
The 17-year-old boy's motorcycle collided with the car on Baker Rd just after 5pm.
He suffered significant injuries to his wrists, upper leg and torso.
An RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called just after 5.30pm to transport the rider to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
The 45-year-old male driver of the car was not treated for injuries.
The cause of the collision is currently under police investigation.
