Teens to show off creations

PEERING through a camera is a career call for some and a hard industry to crack, but for some lucky Rose City teens they were able to dabble in the world of film and will showcase their creations tonight.

Southern Downs Regional Council community youth worker Bonita Tyler said In The Bin Touring Short Film Festival and Education Program held a three-day workshop for teens to grab a camera and edit their own story documented on film.

“It’s amazing what they come up with,” Ms Tyler said.

“The council sponsored the event so there was minimum cost to the kids.

“People will get a chance to see what the young people are doing as well as view some award winning short films.”

The short film festival will screen tonight from 6pm to 9pm at Warwick State High School assembly hall.
