The Broncos are favourite for NRLW premiership

RUGBY LEAGUE: Stephanie Hancock and Heather Ballinger will play in the inaugural NRL women's final on Sunday in Sydney.

The grand final of the women's four-week competition is a curtain raiser to the NRL's men's grand final at the Olympic stadium in Sydney.

On Friday night, Hancock and Ballinger were the starting props for the Brisbane Broncos team which won 32-10 against the Warriors in Melbourne to book the first grand-final spot.

Today's match between the Roosters and Dragons will decide the second grand finalist with all three of the other teams a chance.

After starting the game and being rested before halftime, Ballinger returned to the field in the 10th minute of the second half.

Hancock was back on with 15 minutes to go. Both tackled well and were strong in attack.

The Broncos are unbeaten with wins against Dragons, Roosters and Warriors.

Their former Australian Jillaroos teammate Jo Barrett is part of the commentary team for each women's game this season.
