Meet the man making Taylor ‘happier than ever’
SHE'S almost as well known for her high-profile relationships as for her music, but Taylor Swift's keeping her latest boyfriend strictly under wraps.
And it seems to be paying off, with 26-year-old Brit actor Joe Alwyn understood to be the inspiration behind the most loved-up tracks on her latest album reputation.
Swift's close friend, performer Todrick Hall, spilt the beans on her top-secret new relationship in a recent interview, describing a dodgy ex of Swift's who many fans are speculating is most likely Calvin Harris.
"There was a time last year - I don't know if I'm supposed to say anything - she was dating someone. I'd actually never met this person, but I could I could just tell every time I would talk to her, she would hunch over," Hall said.
"I sent her this picture of her as Quasimodo that I edited. Because I was like, 'You cannot turn into Quasimodo for this guy. Every time you say his name, you hunch over.'"
In her new relationship, Swift is the "happiest I've ever seen her," says Hall.
"She's so happy. Standing up completely straight and so tall and so confident. I just love it. I'm so, so happy for her and I cannot wait to see this tour."
Perhaps the key to success this time around has been keeping her romance under wraps. Swift, who posted numerous pictures with high-profile exes like Harris and Tom Hiddleston, was yet to even be photographed publicly with Alwyn until the pair were finally papped holding hands last week. British rapper Stefflon Don also snapped the pair in a candid moment while they were watching Ed Sheeran in concert.

So what do we know about the man who's made one of the world's biggest pop stars happier than ever?
Two years Swift's junior, the British actor and model is best known for playing the title role in Ang Lee's 2016 war drama (and box office bomb) Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk.
That leading role was Alwyn's first acting job, fresh from completing a BA in acting at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama - but he has more projects on the horizon.
Alwyn is set to appear in four films in 2018, including the upcoming British-American historical drama film Mary, Queen Of Scots and the Joel Edgerton-directed coming of age drama Boy Erased.
Taylor's musical bestie Ed Sheeran offered up a few snippets of information about her relationship in an October interview describing Alwyn as "really nice. Really, really friendly, really good dude".
'They are very much in love. They have quite a low-key relationship, which Taylor likes," he told the Capital London Breakfast Show.
"It's very normal, and no one really knows about it right now. They just work out, watch movies together and invite friends over. Taylor loves to cook and bake for him. They are still taking it slow," he said.
US Weekly reports that the couple may soon make their relationship more public, with Alwyn reportedly set to accompany his girlfriend on a few stops of her Reputation world tour.
"[Taylor's] gonna be on tour soon and Joe will be there and she realised there's no point in not living her life," a source told the mag.
"All her friends know about their relationship anyway. She feels confident in their relationship and Joe really loves her. She really thinks he might be the one."
