Inspired to Spring into a Life of happiness
THE Spring into Life theme at the Women of Warwick breakfast aimed to inspire positive thinking, and nobody was more positive than guest speaker Carmel Wooding.
Speaking at last week's breakfast, the local teacher shared her take on the secret of happiness.
Mrs Wooding told the ladies happiness was their choice, a decision that rested with them and no one else.
"We are powerful beyond measure," she said.
"We are the captains of our own destiny.
"No one can make us happy except us."
The born-and-bred local shared her thoughts on how to interact with others positively.
"I have learnt that you can't change people - even if they act in a way that is harmful to others," she said.
"I can control how I actually think or feel about them."
The inspirational speaker set the ladies a challenge to choose happiness.
