Dude where's my buggy? Man charged over Palmer Resort theft
UPDATE: A 20-year-old Yaroomba man has been charged over his alleged role in the theft and joy ride of three golf carts from Palmer Coolum resort.
Police arrested the man this morning and charged him with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, stealing and trespass.
He was released from the watchhouse on bail and will appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court next month.

Cars were smashed during the joy ride through the streets.
A police spokesman told The Daily the three vehicles were stolen and crashed into at least one car and a couple of wheelie bins.
They were all later found by police at Peregian Esplanade, Peregian Beach.
The spokesman said one person was in custody and was being questioned by police over the incident.

ABC Sunshine Coast reported via twitter this morning that one buggy was driven 13km.
They were spotted this morning wrapped in police tape as part of the investigation.
