Third-placed Warwick Wolves in short football break

FOOTBALL: The Warwick Wolves women are half-way through a three-week break from Toowoomba football fixtures.

They were drawn to play Laidley at the weekend but the game was not played due to wet conditions. They have the bye this weekend.

Their next game is against West Wanderers on Sunday week.

Warwick is third in the competition after moving to the Toowoomba league this season after making the top-four in Stanthorpe last season.

The Wolves have seven wins, a loss to Withcott and draw with Willowburn in women’s football this season.

Warwick is third in the competition behind Rockville and Willowburn, two teams who had their top of the table clash washed out at the weekend.
