The zippy Mirage is 'a great little car'
THE Mitsubishi Mirage four door sedan is the wonderful give away car in the Graeme Collins Automotive, Rose City Shoppingworld and Daily News promotion.
It is a very zippy, compact car with excellent acceleration and amazing fuel economy.
The power plant is a three cylinder double overhead cam, only 1.2 litre capacity, but produces a creditable 57 kilowatts of power.
The pick up of the Mirage is surprising. It cruised effortlessly at the legal 100 kpm.
The quoted fuel consumption is 4.6 lt/100 km overall, with 3.9lt/100 on highway cycle.
Electric assisted steering is very light and direct, with a turning circle of only 4.6 metres. The five speed gear box is easy to use, as are clutch and brake controls.

The interior is smartly trimmed in two tone light and dark grey.
