Three clubs in the mix for first Gold Cup final

POLOCROSSE: Teams from Tansey, Warwick and Gold Coast are in the semi finals of the first Colliers International Gold Cup at the Cunningham Polocrosse Club carnival.

The carnival has attracted 50 plus teams and all the games went to clockwork on Saturday with play well finished by dark.

In the Gold Cup, Tansey 1, Tansey 2, Warwick 1 and Gold Coast 1 qualified for the semi finals with the final scheduled shortly after 2pm Sunday.

The Cunningham 1 team qualified for the semis in A grade.

The carnival is the second last in the area before the state championships at Chinchilla.

Warwick hosts a carnival next weekend and then all roads will lead to Chinchilla on September 1-3.
