
Three riders transported to hospital in separate incidents
THREE motorcycle riders have been transported to hospital after separate incidents east of Warwick.
The Queensland Ambulance Service was called to Gap Creek Farm at 8.15am Sunday to transport a teenage boy to Warwick Base Hospital with a significant arm injury.
The QAS was also at Gap Creek Farm on Saturday at 1pm when a man suffered chest injuries in a fall and was transported to Warwick Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The two incidents at Gap Creek Farm followed an accident at 2pm Friday on the Cunningham Highway just on the Aratula side of the top of Cunningham's Gap when a motorcycle rider collided with a truck.
The rider was a man in his 40s who was transported by RACQ LifeFlight with chest and face injuries in a serious but stable condition to Toowoomba Base Hospital.
The man was flown out from the helipad on the Aratula side of the gap. Police and the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service were also on scene.
