Thrilling final in the Warwick cricket at Slade Park

THE A-grade grand final between Maryvale Condamaine and Warwick Hotel Colts will be remembered as one for the spectators.
The upper-hand switched between the teams a number of times.
Colts started the game well to have Maryvale 1-9 off eight overs before a couple of partnerships involving Andrew Ryan put the game in Maryvale's control. Colts then took back control with wickets to dismiss Maryvale with three overs to go.
Maryvale was then able to increase the required run rate for Colts beyond eight before some high-quality batting from Cameron Peterson and Kevin Poole swung the game Colts way.
A couple of late wickets in the Colts innings evened the ledger with four runs to win off four ball. Then a golf-style 6 from Mitch Watson secured the win.
This six almost gave me a sore neck as the bowler from watching it sail back over my head. A fantastic match with Colts deserved winners.
India Series
THE Aussies may have lost the Test Series to India in India but will walk away better players in Asian conditions.
The secret to their performance may have been the preparation in Dubai and that a number of the players were involved in the Australia A tour to India last year.
