RUGBY LEAGUE: Tickets are on sale for the Allora Regional Sports Museum Hall of Fame induction dinner on February 25.

The Laws brothers, Fred and Colin, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and Allora-born Steve Gibson will become the first regional icon of sport.

His brother Colin was also a great footballer and played for Queensland.

Gibson played his junior footy for Wattles and ended up carving an outstanding career in top level rugby league in England

He was rated the No.1 fullback in England at a time when he was playing for the Salford club.

The Allora Hall of Fame Museum is in Herbert St, Allora, in premises that were once the Allora office of the Southern Downs Regional Council.
