Tiffany taking reins as Cowboys ambassador

SHE took on the job last year, and 2018 will see a familiar face return to one of Warwick rugby league's most valuable roles.

Tiffany Cruice is back for another crack as the Warwick Cowboys ambassador for the upcoming season, and said she is keen to give back to the community.

"It was really good last year, and it was a great experience,” she said.

"There was a bit of trouble finding someone last year, and I put my hand up. I'm up for trying new things.

"It was a new way to get involved with the club and a way to meet new people.

"I didn't know what to expect last year. This year I know what works, what doesn't, and how to improve.”

Mrs Cruice's involvement incorporated many of the social and community aspects of the Cowboys, something she is keen to continue in 2018.

"Last year was a very busy season,” she said.

"We had a bowls day, which was one of our best events. It got everyone involved and people got the chance to mix with people they normally wouldn't.

"We had good turnouts at home games, and will be looking to continue live entertainment.

"Last year, ladies day was held during the Barrett Shield, and we're definitely looking at doing something like that again this year.

"It's a great way to get more involvement.”

As for the on-field side of things, Mrs Cruice said she was looking forward to cheering on our sides.

"I went out to watch games when I was younger. My younger brother Blake (Doro) played,” she said.

"My husband Josh played in A-grade last year and is playing again this year.

"It's a great community club. A lot of people know each other and it's a nice atmosphere.”
