Time for real winter weather
COOLER temperatures will hit Warwick this week, with the air expected to dry out.
Temperatures for the Rose City have been well above the June average of 5 degrees, with 12 degrees recorded on Saturday morning before a minimum of 6 on Sunday.
However, Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Gordon Banks said temperatures were expected to drop further this week.
"We anticipate the temperatures will drop closer to the average," Mr Banks said.
"The change will probably be quite dramatic as the air will be drier and therefore there will be a strong wind chill factor as well.
"The clouds and rain will clear and we expect fine, dry, cool weather with cold mornings from today to Thursday and I think you'll see a bit of frost too."
The temperature is expected to plummet to a minimum of minus 1 degree tomorrow morning.
