Titans too good for Clydesdales

CLYDESDALES 20s coach Scott Hart was upbeat about the performance of Warwick player Jazz Namana in his team's 58-16 trial game loss to the Titans development squad at Clive Berghofer Stadium on Saturday.

The Clydesdales expected to face a tough challenge from the Titans' future under-20s and that was exactly what they got.

Warwick player Brook Croft played for the Clydesdales.

Southern Downs players Will Dearden, Kai Etherington, Thomas Duggan, Lachlan Hendry and Ben Bland were part of the Clydesdales team which beat Central Crows 26-14 in the U16 game.

Wattles centre Jamie Dodt scored two tries and Matt Duggan landed three goals in the Titans 20s 44-18 win against the Clydesdales open side. Dodt partnered Jason Bradfield in the centres.

Ryan Duggan and Dale Perkins also played. Titans beat Warriors 22-12 in main game.
