Toddler on bike hit by car at Deception Bay
A TODDLER is in serious condition after being hit by a car in Deception Bay this evening.
The little boy was on his bicycle on Bronzewing Cres when he was struck by a car around 4.10pm.
Suffering a serious leg injury, he has been taken by paramedics to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.
Earlier, a motorcyclist was in serious condition after crashing into a barrier near the Brisbane Airpor.
The male motorcyclist was riding westbound on Airport Drive when he smashed into a barrier near the Gateway Motorway on ramp around 3.50pm.
Queensland Ambulance said the man has been taken to the Royal Brisbane in serious condition suffering a chest injury.
Police were diverting traffic around the crash and no roads have been closed.
