UPDATE: Toddler hit by car in shop carpark

UPDATE: A young boy hit by a vehicle in Aldi carpark this afternoon has been transported to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition.

Police say the three-year-old ran out from behind a vehicle into the path of another car and had his foot run over.

Police took no action against the driver, who was from New South Wales.

EARLIER: A THREE-YEAR-OLD has been hit by a car in a store carpark in Warwick.

Paramedics are on scene at ALDI where the boy has reportedly been hit by a car.

A QAS spokeswoman said crews were called at 12.56pm.

"Paramedics on scene have said he is alert and oriented with cuts to his hands and feet," she said.

"He is expected to be transported to Warwick Hospital shortly."
