Top entertainer to host Killarney event
MULTI-award winning entertainer Eric Summons is heading to Killarney.
He will be the MC for the Killarney Campdraft dinner which will be held on Saturday night as part of the Killarney Flood Recovery weekend.
Not only will there be good music, great food, wonderful entertainment but the chance to get your hands on some unique sporting memorabilia.
After Mr Summons has completed his amazing magic tricks he will conduct the charity auction of sporting memorabilia.
Some of this will include a framed magnificent seven depicting seven State of Origin wins signed by coach and captain, a framed Black Caviar pictorial featuring her winning career, a signed photo of Slim Dusty at home with his horses, a framed Melbourne Storm premiership winning team photo signed by all team members and much more.
Killarney Show Society president Dave Thomson said he was excited about the event and wanted to encourage everyone in the community to come along.
"It's essential the Killarney community and others support this weekend," he said.
"After the washout of the show earlier this year we need community support so we can keep holding these annual events."
The event will be held at the Killarney Rec Club and a two-course dinner will be available from 6.15pm.
Tickets are selling fast - these can be purchased from the Killarney Veterinary Surgery.
