Flood of tickets for premiere of Noah story

A FLOOD of tickets have been made available for the Warwick premiere of Noah, a Rotary Club of Warwick's social fundraiser.

The money raised on the evening will go toward Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC) a New Zealand and Australia-based Rotary initiative.

ROMAC aims to harness the assistance of medical experts, hospitals, and more, for children in need in the Oceanic region.

"It's a new initiative for our club," Rotary member Yve Stocks said. She is looking forward to the movie herself.

Drinks and nibbles are also available before the premiere.

"It looks like a spectacular movie and something suitable for almost everyone," she said.

A member for more than four years, Ms Stocks said the club was a good way to meet people while working to support worthy causes.

"I was new to town when I first joined. I realised how good it was to meet people and help raise money in the community," she said.

She invites anyone interested in joining Rotary to also come along on the night and see what it is all about.

The group meets every first and third Tuesday of the month for dinner, and a meeting, at the RSL.

Often the evening will include a guest speaker.

"We would like to double our membership," Ms Stocks said. "You don't have to be old to join. We have members ranging people from around 18 to 80."

With only 180 tickets on offer for Noah, seats are expected to sell fast.

Get in early to make sure you don't miss the boat. Tickets will be available only at the door, however those interested need to RSVP by April 30. Contact Yve Stocks to reserve your ticket.
