Tough day at the office for the Water Rats
RUGBY UNION: Flanker Jared Fearby and hooker Anthony Savovski were two of the best as Warwick went down 63-0 to Dalby in Darling Downs Rugby Union at Dalby on Saturday.
Dalby beat Warwick in B grade and also won A grade 53-0 against US Gatton.
Coach Vlad Savovski said Warwick was dominant in the forward battles but lacked experience and continuity in the backline.
"Dalby ran around us a bit but we will definitely improve,” Vlad said.
"Last year, Dalby finished second so will be one of the teams to beat in B grade.”
There are no fixtures this weekend due to Easter and then Warwick hosts Bears on April 22 with rugby from 11am to 5.30pm.
Warwick will play in a three-team competition in women's sevens on April 22 and the Water Rats will play Bears in B grade and Gatton will play Bears in A grade.
Training each Tuesday and Thursday for the men and women at 6pm at Risdon Oval. More welcome.
