Travellers pulled over on highway and facing nine charges
TWO Gold Coast men will face nine charges after the Warwick District Road Policing Unit intercepted a yellow Ford Mustang at 11.30am Saturday on the New England Highway at Allora.
A 26-year-old man from Mermaid Waters faces two charges of possession of a dangerous drug, one charge of possession of a utensil, one of possessing property suspected of being used in the commission of a drug offence, one charge of possession of property suspected to be from proceeds of an offence under the drug misuse act and one charge of unlawful possession of a weapon.
Police charged a 29-year-old man from Benowa of possession of a dangerous drug, unlawful use of a motor vehicle (but not related to Saturday's intercept) and one charge of unlicensed driving.
Both will appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on October 30.
