Treats prettier in pink

IT SEEMS nothing goes down after a hard game of footy better than a petite pink cupcake.

The unconventional sideline treat was a huge hit at the Collegians v Stanthorpe rugby league game on Saturday.

Collegians mum Kylie McMahon was one of the event organisers and said the concept received great community support and raised $310 for the Kim Walters Choices program.

"We had people coming in from town just to get a cupcake and then leaving again, so that was great," she said.

"I just want to thank the sponsors who got behind us and the U16s team - they're a great mob of kids and they really got behind the event."

BENEFICIARY

The Kim Walters Choices program provides support to those diagnosed with breast and gynaecological cancers.
