FRIENDS of Cole Miller, strangers, and others touched by violence have paid tribute to the former Sunshine Coast 18-year-old who died after a one-punch attack in Brisbane at the weekend. 

Almost 10,000 people have joined the Facebook event page Remember Cole Miller, initially started to promote the memorial to be held in King George Square, Brisbane, on January 11. 

The page has been flooded with tributes to Cole Miller, messages of support for his family, and condemnation of senseless violent acts.

Among the tributes was a video, posted by artist Riley P, of a painting of Cole Miller taking shape. 

After just 19 hours on the page the clip had been viewed more than 90,000 times. 

Followers of the page will gather in the Brisbane CBD as 12.15pm on Monday to march in Cole Miller's name and raise their voices against coward punch attacks.
