Trio lucky to escape crash
THREE people were lucky to walk away from a high-impact crash at Gladfield yesterday morning.
Sergeant Bradley Doyle of Killarney police said investigations were continuing into the crash just after 10am.
"One vehicle was stopped at the Goomburra intersection and a second car following behind collided with it," he said.
"Considering the heavy impact and the major damage that was done to both vehicles, they were very lucky to walk away."
The husband and wife travelling in the first car - a 58-year-old man and 59-year-old woman from Capalaba - were taken to Warwick Hospital with minor injuries.
The 27-year-old driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
