Troy Cassar-Daley graces town hall stage

COUNTRY star Troy Cassar-Daley is heading back to the Rose City next year, putting on a stage show at the Warwick Town Hall.

Troy will release his ninth studio album, Freedom Ride, on March 13 next year before hitting the road for a massive national tour.

Grafton boy he may be, but Troy Cassar-Daley is a musical nomad.

Troy's entire career has been as nomadic as it has been successful - 25 years has delivered numerous ARIA and APRA awards, 26 Golden Guitars, gold and platinum records and a legion of loyal fans.

Get Troy talking about Freedom Ride, and prepare yourself for a journey, literally as well as musically.

"I had an empty canvas sitting at home and wanted to paint an interesting picture for everyone with songs," Troy said.

"I loved co-writing with old friends again on this album and the themes we looked at stretched from one end of the country to another.

"There are a lot of people's lives woven through these tunes and I hope they use this collection of songs as a mirror and see themselves in a few of the stories I've touched on."

Troy Cassar-Daley will perform at the Warwick Town Hall on June 10, 2015.

Keep an eye on the Daily News for more details including how to get tickets early next year.
