Truck and car collide on Darling Downs Hwy

UPDATE: An elderly couple involved in a crash with a truck on the New England Hwy near Stanthorpe this afternoon have been taken to hospital for observation.
The truck driver wasn't injured in the crash.
Police are investigating whether human error is to blame for the crash.
2:30PM: A TRUCK and a car have collided on the New England Hwy near Stanthorpe.
The incident is in the southbound lane, just south of the second Stanthorpe exit.
An elderly couple in their 80s travelling in the car have escaped with minor injuries and are being treated at the scene.
