Truck destroyed in highway inferno

A truck caught fire on the New England Highway about 5am.
A truck caught fire on the New England Highway about 5am.

A TRUCK which caught fire on the New England Highway south of Warwick has been extinguished.

It is understood the driver escaped injury, with the burning rig starting a grass fire in an adjacent paddock.

The blaze began at around 5am and is still under police investigation.
