Truckie luckiest man on two legs

A 28-YEAR-OLD male driver walked away unharmed when the second trailer of the B-double truck he was operating rolled in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The accident occurred on the Cunningham Hwy about 30km from Warwick, as the truck was heading west towards Inglewood.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokesman said crews got the call to the single vehicle accident at about 5.20am. He said traffic control was required because the trailer was blocking one lane of the highway.

"There were no entrapments but one lane was closed and Main Roads was doing traffic control," he said.

The spokesman said fire crews left the scene at about 6.30am. A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said officers remained at the scene but there were no injuries and no-one had to be transported to hospital.
