True beaut wave of success for busy Warwick salon
IN SEVEN short years Clare Jeffries hair salon has grown from a small business to an award-winning salon, recognised on the national stage.
The Clare's Hair Together and True Beauty owner is celebrating more recognition from De Lorenzo, after being named the third best salon in Australia. The award follows Clare's overall best salon in Australia award last year.
For Mrs Jeffries and several of her staff, the trip to the DeLorenzo ASPYA conference in Fiji last month was a dream come true.
Not only did the Warwick salon take out third place, it was also inducted into the DeLorenzo Hall of Fame.
"That's a big deal for us as a salon - only the salons they really have a lot of respect for get to the level," she said.
The recognition comes as Mrs Jeffries celebrates 24 years owning the busy salon, which is now located in Rose City Shopping- world.
Mrs Jeffries said she owed the salon's success to her talented team of stylists. "It's great to be recognised, not for my hard work, but for the girls' hard work," she said. "The girls are creative, friendly and hard working - willing to do courses to advance their skills."
Clare's was also given a green award for environmental sustainability.
"We try to do as much environmentally friendly as we can," Mrs Jeffries said.
"I'm not a greenie but I do feel we have to help our planet for the future generation."
