Try your luck in Two Up at the RSL

WARWICK RSL will host a game of Two Up in its new function room at 3pm on Anzac Day.

RSL Bar Manager Sussan Trim said the gambling game has been attracting growing crowds over the years.

"It's an Anzac tradition to play," Mrs Trim said.

"It's gotten bigger over the years, people love it," she said.

This traditional Australian game involves tossing two coins in the air and placing bets on a show of two heads or two tails.

The coins are placed tails-up on a wooden board known as a kip or paddle.

The ring-keeper in charge of the game calls 'come in spinner' and the spinner tosses the coins.

People can place bets or can just observe the fun as traditional pennies and kip are brought in for the show.

"You can come and watch but usually people do bet to play," Mrs Trim said.

"Michael Litchfield who organises the game for us brings the pennies and the board."

Join one of Australia's oldest military traditions as we celebrate 100 years since the Gallipoli landing.
