Two-car crash on Cunningham Hwy

EMERGENCY crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the junction of the Cunningham Highway north of Warwick and the Freestone Rd turnoff.

A sedan is down an embankment and a silver Ford Festiva is off the road, with one person possibly trapped in the rear seat.

Paramedics and Queensland Fire and Rescue Service personnel are attending to the passenger.

Both vehicles are on the Warwick-bound side of the highway.

Injuries are unknown at this stage. Triple zero calls from passing motorists were received around 815am.
