Fatal crash on D'Aguilar Hwy

Update 12.30pm

Queensland Police has confirmed a man believed to be in his 70s died at the scene of a two car collision on D'Aguilar Hwy this morning.

A 74-year-old woman driving that vehicle was taken to Kingaroy hospital with multiple injuries.

A 28-year-old woman driving a four-wheel drive has also been injured and was taken to Kingaroy Hospital.

The highway remains closed in both direction but diversions are in place.

Forensic officers are investigating at the scene. 

 

Update 11.30am

A police spokesman said there was two people in one vehicle and one occupant in the other.

He said it is believed two people were transferred to Kingaroy Hospital but was unsure of their injuries.

A four wheel drive and car were involved in the crash on the D'Aguilar Hwy this moring.

About 10am, a car and a four wheel drive collided on the highway outside Kingaroy.

Two ambulances, a fire truck and police were on the scene.

Police have closed the highway at Rogers Dr.
