VIDEO:Two injured in crash at notorious Warwick intersection

UPDATE: TWO people have been transported to hospital for precautionary assessment as authorities begin the clean up of the crash site.

Warwick police Senior Constable Darren Black said the accident occurred when a white sedan traveling west on Percy St, collided with a silver ute, which was traveling north on Wallace St.

As a result of the accident, the ute rolled over and came to a rest around 30 metres from the impact site.

The sedan spun 90 degrees and came to a rest in the middle of Wallace St, facing north.

The female driver of the ute and a female passenger in the sedan were both taken to hospital with minor injuries.

BREAKING: EMERGENCY services crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle crash at the notorious Wallace and Percy St intersection.  

Initial searches of the vehicles are complete and nobody is seriously injured or trapped in either vehicle.  

The full extent of the damage and the cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.
