Two in custody after PolAir, police track suspects

AT LEAST two people are in custody after a police chase through Toowoomba this morning.

The PolAir helicopter has helped police crews on the ground track a suspected stolen car in the city.

A heavy police presence is being reported outside Grand Central where it is believed two suspects have been taken into custody.

Residents had reported seeing a number of police cars throughout the city and its suburbs.

A police spokeswoman said PolAir had been tracking a suspected stolen vehicle in the Toowoomba area with two people taken into custody in the "central Toowoomba area".
