Two drivers charged in Warwick early Sunday

TWO drivers from Warwick will face court after being pulled over in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Sergeant Shane Reid, of Warwick police, said at 12.30am, a 17-year-old boy was charged with drink driving with a blood alcohol reading of .08 in Fairwill Drive.

"He was required at 17 to be zero and will face Warwick Children's Court on July 11,” Sgt Reid said.

The second driver charged was a 20-year-old man who was charged for drug driving after returning a positive reading.

He was pulled over by the Warwick Road Policing Unit in Locke Street, Warwick, at 5.45am Sunday and will face Warwick Magistrates Court on a date to be determined.
