Two Gladfield horses offered early at Magic Millions
RACING: Two yearlings from the Gladfield area have created plenty of interest early on day 1 of the Magic Millions Sales at the Gold Coast.
A filly by Sebring out of the mare Fleet Raine was offered by Raheen Stud at Gladfield and sold for $145,000 to Dalziel Racing/Lindsay Park Racing.
A colt offered by Rosari Farm at Gladfield was passed in at $190,000. The colt is by Snitzel and out of Fluffy Duck.
Six thoroughbred studs from the Southern Downs are offering horses at the Magic Millions, Daandine (Goomburra), Lyndhurst Stud Farm and Canning Downs (both Warwick), Raheen, Rosari Farms and Noralla Stud (all Gladfield).
Daandine stud has bred a yearling which went on to win the main race at the Magic Millions. This year's Magic Millions Race Meeting is on Saturday.
