Two men killed in crash near The Summit

POLICE are investigating a fatal, single vehicle crash on the New England Highway that happened at The Summit last night.

Initial investigations suggests at around 8.20pm, 100m south of the Granite Belt Drive intersection a north bound car left the road and crashed into a light pole in the median strip.

The two men, believed to be Stanthorpe locals, aged 44 and 57 died at the scene.

Police investigations are continuing.
