Two men nabbed for drink driving in Southern Downs town

A 31-YEAR-OLD man allegedly had a blood alcohol concentration almost double the legal limit when he was caught by police at Killarney.

The Nambour man was pulled over by police about 12.40pm yesterday on Willow St and allegedly blew a reading of 0.094.

He has been charged with drink driving and will appear at Warwick Magistrates Court on May 2.

His charge came after another man was caught drink driving at Killarney on Friday afternoon.

The 32-year-old man was intercepted by police on Ailanthus St about 4pm.

He reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.063.

A court date has not yet been recorded for the Munruben man.
