Two more nominate for election

TWO more council candidates threw their hats into the ring the yesterday, for the looming local government election on April 28.

Emu Vale's Wayne Booth announced his intentions, as did Allora's Glyn Rees who put the word out via Facebook. Mr Rees amassed 17 comments and 35 "likes" in one hour of posting his intentions.

Mr Booth said his background covered the construction and IT industries and he wanted to see the operations of the council restructured to make it more cost effective.
