Two riders to hospital, one by chopper and one with ambos

TWO riders have been taken to hospital after motorcycle crashes early this afternoon on the eastern Darling Downs.

At 1.13pm, a man riding a motorcycle collided with the back of a vehicle on the Gatton/Clifton Rd at West Haldon.

He was treated on the scene and flown by RACQ LifeFlight in a stable condition with shoulder and leg injuries to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The chopper left West Haldon at 2.30pm.

The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service urban crew from Clifton and the Rescue Unit from Toowoomba were on scene.

In an earlier incident at 12.57pm, a man was transported by the Queensland Ambulance Service to Warwick Hospital after being injured off a motorcycle on the Cunningham Highway at Tregony.

The rider suffered shoulder and leg injuries.
