UK are first World Cup players to play a game in Australia

THE first carnival this season on the Southern Downs is on, the World Cup teams are heading for Warwick and the fans are getting ready for the greatest polocrosse event in history.

There is unprecedented interest in this year's Adina Polocrosse World Cup and it is almost certain there will be record crowds at IOR Morgan Park for the April 22-28 event.

There is a large crowd at the Bony Mountain Recreation Reserve this weekend as the United Kingdom team plays in the open mixed grade in the Cunningham carnival.

The three African teams are flying in to Brisbane early Sunday along with the Ireland team. All are on the one flight from Dubai.
