Umpires galore for the cricket carnival in Warwick
TWO umpires will officiate in each of the finals at this weekend's Warwick Australia Day Cricket Carnival.
Warwick's most experienced umpire Maurice Ryan and retired Brisbane A-grade player Greg Payne will officiate in the competitive grand final on Sunday at Slade Park.
Long-time Warwick umpire John Keleher and Wheatvale club cricketer Col O'Brien have been appointed for the social grand final.
There will be one umpire at each other game with the batting team required to provide a square leg umpire.
All games in the carnival are T20 format so bowlers are restricted to four overs per game.
Presentation of all individual and team prizes will be on Sunday afternoon at Slade Park.
