THE first glimpse at the new entrance to Rose City Shoppingworld has been revealed.

On the corner of Palmerin and Fitzroy Sts, the entrance features tall glass doors looking out onto the intersection.

Sandstone detailing gives the entrance a look that matches Warwick's historic buildings, perfectly drawing together the old and new.

Shoppers are still unable to use the entrance with scaffolding remaining around the outside, but it shows development is moving ahead in leaps and bounds.

Rose City Shoppingworld marketing manager Louise de Lissa said the entrance would not be open until the new year.

"It's really going to be the major entry to the shopping centre and it fits in so well with the corner and looking over the park," she said.

"It's going to be a nice street-scaped entry to the shopping centre."

A travellator and lift will also be installed at the Fitzroy St end of the centre, which has come to life with multiple shop openings in recent weeks.
