Vintage caravans turn back time at Leyburn Sprints
THE HISTORIC race cars weren't the only attractions at the weekend Leyburn Sprints.
The vintage caravans took people back to the 50s and 60s and had vintage furnishings from top to bottom.
Sandi Cray from the Gold Coast was one of the happy caravan owners to show off her old school love.
She said she would never part with her 1957 Kennedy Skyline.
"I originally bought it because my husband works seven days a week and sometimes we need a break," she said.
"We have a turf farm and I wanted to get a caravan so that we could get away.
"I've always loved the old vans and we already had the old car and we thought they would match perfectly."
