Wait...what? Southern Downs classified ad goes viral
EVERY day hundreds of people post to the Southern Downs online buy, swap and sell pages looking to offload some unwanted item and perhaps raise a little cash.
Every now and then, someone posts something a little bit different to raise a laugh or have a bit of fun.
The local social media circles went into meltdown yesterday after a bloke by the name of James F Atkins posted the following picture to the Stanthorpe Buy, Swap, Sell and Giveaway Facebook page.
At first glance it's a TV but a second glance will show an awful lot more. Maybe even too much.
It's not clear whether this is James himself, but a closer inspection appears this is unlikely.
Within a few hours the posts had been liked, shared and commented on hundreds on times as thousands of people had a chuckle over the cheeky ad and the sellers obvious naked ambition.
Only a few people were actually interested in purchasing, because let's face it - $250 for a 40inch TV isn't the worst deal in the world.
Over the years several other pranksters have taken to Warwick Classifeds with some hilarious items up for grabs.
A few notables include a camouflage jacket for sale for $75 - pictured was just a coat hanger.
Another was a foam mattress badly chewed into a thousand pieces by naughty doggos - this one was free but the seller remarked it would "require some assembly".
