Boating accident at Leslie Dam

A 16-year-old girl has been airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital after being injured in a boating accident at Leslie Dam yesterday.

She had fallen from a wakeboard and was taken to Warwick Hospital by ambulance.

The RACQ CareFlight rescue helicopter was tasked at 1.15pm yesterday.

A spokesperson for RACQ CareFlight said she was in a stable condition and had been moved to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane for precautionary tests.

The accident happened on the biggest weekend of the year at the local camping grounds.
