Warwick all-rounder stars in cricket in Canberra
CRICKET: Warwick cricketer Lucy Bourke took three wickets in one over and 4-2 in the innings as Queensland beat New South Wales in a crucial match in the Australian 10-12 years girls cricket championships in Canberra on Saturday.
Lucy had figures of 3-0 in one over, including wickets with successive balls. With the bat, she scored 15 coming in at third drop.
In yesterday's game against Western Australia, she took 1-6 off three overs and didn't bat as Queensland won by seven wickets. She currently has the second best figures in the carnival.
Lucy is playing for Queensland at the nationals for a second successive year.
The championships go to Friday.
