Warwick artisans set up in Rose City
TWO groups of talented local artisans have banded together to give Warwick shoppers some great gift ideas just in time for Christmas.
The Warwick Potters and the Warwick Artist's Group have set up a stall at the bottom of the escalators in Rose City Shoppingworld.
Susan Ellwood was staffing the stall with Keron Richter and said shoppers had been stopping by for a chat.
"They've been buying a lot too, which is fantastic,” Mrs Elwood said.
"We set up yesterday with a view of promoting art to the wider Warwick community.
"Everything on display here has been crafted by local artists.”
On display is a wide variety of items from bowls made from LP records, to beautifully scuplted ostrich eggs.
There are pottery item including vases, bowls, mugs and bells.
The Warwick Artist's Group have a large range of cards, postcards and art on display as well.
The stall will be open in Rose City everyday through until next Sunday.
