Warwick batter hits four off her only ball

CRICKET: Delissa Kimmince hit a four off the only ball she faced in the Brisbane Heat five-wicket victory against Melbourne Renegades in a WBBL game today at Allan Border Field.

Batting first, the Renegades were dismissed for 102, Jemma Barsby taking 4-13 off four overs.

Kimmince took 0-23 off her four overs.

The Heat won with 13 balls to spare scoring 5-105. Beth Mooney top scored with 45. The win puts the Heat into third place in the battle for semi-final spots.

On Sunday, the same two teams meet in another T20 game at 10am at Allan Border Field.

The Heat women will play the Strikers in a 1.10pm game at the Gabba on Friday before the Heat men play the Melbourne Renegades from 6.40pm. Warwick paceman Mark Steketee is set to play in the men's game.

The double header is already a sell out.
